In the usual telling, Gnosticism is a forgotten heresy: strange cosmologies, hostile archons, a bungling demiurge, and a secret saving knowledge called gnosis. Read that way, it lives in the second century.

Through my system, Gnosticism is not a dead religion. It is a precise symbolic map of how awareness forgets itself, becomes trapped in imagination, and then tries to wake up as a time-bound ego. It describes, in mythic language, the same pattern I map with the four archetypes and the :
