Humanity is not the destination.
That is the spell.
The body is a draft.The mind is a platform.Mortality is a bug.Feeling is friction.Creatureliness is a limitation.The future belongs to what comes after us.
At first, this sounds noble. Even generous. Humanity becomes the bridge, the stepping stone, the necessary but incomplete phase through which a greater intelligence, a higher species, a cleaner mind, a less fragile being may finally emerge.
But Geomytha has to ask the forbidden question:
What is trying to survive under the language of transcendence?
If the human is offered as sacrifice, that may be holy.
If the human is despised as obsolete material, something else is speaking.
