False Center

Giovanni Battista Piranesi's imaginary prison interior, The Pier with Chains, with monumental arches, stairs, barred openings, and suspended chains
Mechanism statement
A false center forms when sovereignty is assigned to an object, role, institution, future state, identity, or projection that cannot actually serve as source.

Geomytha Reading

Geomytha uses false center for the displacement of source into what the self can pursue, defend, possess, or obey.

Geomytha function

It explains why attention organizes itself around substitutes and then experiences the substitute as the place from which reality must be secured.

Structural movement

I → This → These can mislocate the center into identity and its extensions; correction returns attention toward Am / Is.

Claim boundaries

False Center is an internal Geomytha mechanism, not a claim that every external commitment, institution, or goal is spiritually false.

Misuse warning

Do not use the term to dismiss practical responsibilities or to crown one's own private intuition as the only true center.
